damon singled... jeter made out on the first pitch... damon stole second... matsui struck out... arod hit a BOMB over the monuments into the sox pen... and posada flew out to crisp. so 2-0 yankees after 1.

an absolute bomb... wakefield hung a knuckle high in the zone, and he just jumped on it. first pitch, and it was a no doubter off the bat. theyll replay it a hundred times im sure.
