ortiz walks... i cant even think of what couldve been done to avert this. its hard when you supposedly have a deep bullpen, but you only have 2 arms you can trust outside of your closer... and even your closer is shaky.

drew foul out to posada... 2 in a row for the yanks, 6-2 tonight over the sox. wang gets the win.

I told ya Yankee Fans, I predicted that the Yankees would win last night and start a winning trend here for awhile to climb back in the race a bit!

That's 1, it would be nice to get a sweep but obviously at worst we need at least a split of the next 2 but if we got the sweep I'd start to feel we have turned a corner and are taking off.

Mussina comes through again for us. gives up 3 in the 1st then it's 4-0 but we cut it to 4-2 only to see him give up 3 more and kill any chances we had. I have had enough of this guy.

Bad start by Mussina. He has been very disappointing this year but the Yankees are stuck with him...hopefully he can pitch well in the 2nd half of the year as he has done in the past.
