    2 Home Runs in the last week for Piazza! Is Mike back, or is he just hot? Piazza blasted the farthsest Home Run he has hit in almost a year or two. Piazza can hit 11 more Homers this year. He will get 400, and retire. That is what I am predicting.
Piazza Home Run Count: Tied with Johhnny Bench and right behind Graig Nettles--389 Homers. |

Yep, there is no way we could expect him to be back that quickly. But, I do agree he is hot. Good to see him kill baseballs from time to time still. He will get to 400 this year I predict. It could happen.

I can see Piazza lingering around for a few seasons trying to make it on a roster for firstbase. How many of today's athletes go out when they should? And yeah Piazza probably should of went out sooner but he had the record to get.
Congrats to Piazza though. |
