Welcome, UConnSteelerFan and BaseballFanatic.

I hope to see the both of you more especially UConn.

Great job by the Mets taking the series against a very hot team in the Nationals. To win three out of four against a good team is darn good. This was a big series for the Mets IMO and they got it done. Here's hoping the Mets can show that type of spunk against the Braves.

BTW, Willie Randolph continues to impress me as a manager. I think this was a great hire in the off-season. Willie brings flair and personality as a manager which was something Art Howe never had which is why Howe was fired after two years. I think the Mets reflect Willie's personality just by how hard they play each game.

Mets take 3 of 4 while Cubs got swept. Congrats on the series win. Though, I'm rooting for the Nats because I like there story.

Sloppy win on the 7th and now the first Pirate game the same mistakes and they lose. WTF is wrong with the coaching staff? Don't they do anything other than listen to Randolph?

I think all NL East fans (minus Nats fans obviously) cannot wait for the fall of the Nationals. For me personally it's not even because they are in first, it's just clear they are not a first place team and I get extremely disgruntled with any team that becomes darlings of the media when they overacheive.
