    With Baker out with a hurt groin, the Twins look to their minor leagues to bring up a pitcher to fill his slot on Thursday. Kevin Slowey is expected to be called up and pitch for Baker on Thursday. Baker will undergo an MRI to see how bad his injured groin is.

Slowey has the stuff to be a top-of-the-rotation guy. All he needs to do is harness his emotions and stay focused on the task at hand. Lets see if he sticks this time.
