He will right away, just for the fact that he hasn't pitched in the AL besides inter-league games. I do worry, however, that he will be a bust like the guys you mentioned above. If that is the case, that will give one of the younger guys a chance who are competing for a starting spot now.

Were stuck with him. I dont see us letting him go. We need the vet to help with the rookie pitchers..

The Twins need him out there to eat innings and take some pressure off the bullpen which will be overworked due to so much youth in the rotation.

A solid outing for Livan tonight. 7 innings pitched, 1 run given up and only 75 pitches thrown! Well done, hopefully this is the turnaround he needs.
