    We're on a losing streak and we'll be facing Cleveland tonight. We're in a deep hole right now. If we keep losing, do you guys think trading Hunter is the best possible option for us? We might not afford him as a free agent after this season. That will make it even harder to keep him here.
Hunter deserves to be on a good team. Should we? Should we not? |

What would the Twins require in return for Torii?
It was discussed on the radio in the 'Cities last week and nearly everyone said that if Hunter signs, Johan stays for the long haul, and for a discount from his market value. If Hunter is not signed, it will be difficult to keep Johan. Sure Torii will cost $12-16M/year, but he will bring people to the new ballpark, and will likely be a revenue producer overall. |
