As you know we will have Joe for four more years. He is developing nicely into one of the best catchers. We had AJ before and traded him to pave the way for Joe. As a Twin, AJ did well and contribute for us both ways. Now the question, who is going to have an impactful season?

AJ or Joe?

Unless Mauer gets hit by a bus or DDP teaches AJ the Diamond Cutter, it's Joe.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

Why even ask that question?!!! The batting champ will produce even more. The Twins lineup is getting stronger. Cuddyer,Morneau had inpact years last season things will only get better!

Why is neither an option...are you banking on Mauer and AJ having the exact same avg, obp, slg, hrs, rbis, hits, steals, % of runners thrown out, # of children born, jerseys sold, hamburgers eaten?

Anyway, this is like saying who's gonna have a better season, Morneau or Doug Meiltrieoarioejfiejrz.

A good poll would have been: Luis Rivas or Cristian Guzman

How good is it if it's irrelevant?

Mientkiewicz (man, I'm surprised that I still could his last name) won't have any more successful seasons. He did it a half 5 years ago or so. I think Justin has plenty to prove.

This question is WAY to easy. Joe will have another awesome season. He and our catcher Brian McCann are the 2 best catchers in baseball. Joe will hit like .330 this season.

Lol. Let's suppose I put the same poll in the Chicago White Sox forum, and sure enough they'll choose AJ over Joe. But, yeah, you're right about the majority of vote (based on the overall forum) is Joe. Why can't I see how people will react. 2 years ago, it was AJ - but from now on it'll be Joe's.

I like A.J., he is a gamer. He is hard nosed and plays all out, but if I were starting a franchise, and I needed a catcher, Joe is the man!!! McCann in Atlanta is a good one too, but I thought Mauer was MVP last year.

JOE over A.J.!!!!
