Week 1: Crew vs Cubs

Monday: Ben Sheets - 9 K's. 7/8 great innings! Welcome back. No more injuries for you k?!

Tony Gwynn: 3-4? Already proving me right as player of the year! Woohoo. Keep rockin in Center Field. Cameron might be out of a job.

Rickie Weeks: Great job even after getting nailed in the elbow.

A good start, with a Gagne today. Yost didnt give him as much time to warm up and Gagne was too wooried about the mud and his long a** pants. Once he ave up the lead (F. Cordero, Jr.) blew the 3 run lead "easy" save oppritunity, he settled down and pitched ok.

haha i agree. GAGne is a real crowd pleaser, unfotiantley, a cubss crowed pleaser,yeah for our playing of the game ima have to give it to sheets, pplwere saying he might not come out afteer the 2nd rain delay but he did. still y did yost take him out after pitching 6 1/3 of 2 hit baseball.

Oh well, Gagne will rebound. The Brewers still got the win and maybe that will help him relax and rebound from that outing and dominate the remainder of the season.

ah yes i good start for him, especially as he had some critics to answer as they said he "underachieved last year" the guy went 12-12 with a ERA above 4, 12-12 isnt that bad but we were expecting a little bit more from him so i good start for him today, effective fastball and changeup changing speeds alott, his controll was nto great, but it was good and when he needed a big out he got one, his pitches are very affective if they are low and very hard for hitters to hit on as we saw today, but when he pitches it high hitters seem to hit that. But all in all a great performance by him today.

Game 2: Crew vs Cubs

1. J. Kendall - With 4 at bats and 3 hits I'd say that's darn good, even for a catcher.

2. J. Suppan - 6.1 innings, however not very good numbers...6 H and 2 HR. Our offense did help him though by pounding Lilly to only 4 innings.

2. R. Braun - Went 3-5 with an RBI

3. R. Weeks - First HR on the first pitch! Woohoo! Enough said.

Player pounded the most: Prince Fielder got hit twice!

Only downside is we left 11 players on base...Eek...

Yesterday: Player pounded was Weeks, twice and we only left 6 on base.

WON THE SERIES! Time To Clean Up!
