    SERIOUSLY! HE WAS WARMING UP IN THE F*CKING BULLPEN! USE THE MAN...HOW HARD IS IT...REALLY, UNF*CKING BELIEVABLE.......TURNBOW IS NOT A CLOSER, DON'T USE HIM AS ONE! THIS IS WHY WE PICKED UP CORDERO..HE'S THERE FOR A REASON...I'M LOSING LOTS OF FAITH RIGHT NOW....

also, sometimes you need to use your closer too hold the fire until the offense breaks through.
(NOTE TO YOST: SEE M. RIVERA (NYY), THAT IS THE WAY TORRE USES RIVERA AT TIMES AND THE LAST TIME I CHECKED THE YANKEES HAVE BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL IN THE PAST BY DOING THIS!!) |

Exactly, there was no reason not to use Cordero to get out of the 9th. So it went extra innings so what? Hopefully Yost would have enough faith that the offense would take the lead and if you had to use Cordero for the 10th then so be it.

Well, as much as I hate to admit it, Codero is due to blow a save opportunity occassionally, and I thought the way things were going on that road trip, I thought that opportunity was going to happen last night!!!
Thank Goodness it didn't. But if it were to happen, I would rather it happen sooner than late in the year,or dare I say the playoffs! sssshhhhh... let's not jinx the mojo. |

We're losing our mojo right now...We need a stellar game to gain some of it back. I'm sure Coco will blow a save eventually too, but I like seeing our players at number 1 for a lot even though we aren't playing like it...
