MLB just needs to schedule double headers during the regular season and have flexible scheduling during the playoffs to simply cut down on the amount of off days . No games should be eliminated or added. A one game playoff goes to trying to compete with the NFL, just like November playoff games. It also takes away from the rare but exciting 163rd game. A one game playoff for the first round doesn't truly show who is the better team.

I'd prefer baseball not played in November as well, but not at the expense of what this idiot is suggesting.
I'd rather baseball be played in "non-baseball weather" than to risk having a team knocked out in a 1 game playoff first round in a sport where a shitty 100 loss team can beat a great 100+ win team if they have one good game. (Not that a 100 loss team would be in the playoffs, but that's besides the point.)
I like the double header idea better than shortening the season, though.
