    Usually you two are maniacal bums who yell too much when talking sports, but after yesterday and listening to Michael Wilbon and Rick Reilly denounce Tim Lincecum as Cy Young, leave it to these guys to support Lincecum as the winner. Mariotti made fun of the voters, and want to know who left Lincecum off their ballot period and Rome was all for him on his final Burn.
They may suck most of the time, but at least today, they got something right.  |

I had no problem with him winning it, or Lincecum. There's no reason Lincecum shouldn't have won it, like some media types believe.

Win totals are SO overrated. It's ERA, BAA, BB/K ratio and WHIP that matter. Even strikeouts are overrated. When it comes down to it, it's all about who allows the least runs

See, I thought Lincecum deserved it. What pissed me off was Webb beating Santana. Johan had a lower ERA, more K's and more IP than Webb, Webb only had the wins. I think Lincecum with his higher K total than Johan, and an ERA withing .20 points deserved to win the award, but Johan shoulda been #2.

Fox Sports had an article of the top five and Webb wasn't even in it, Sabathia was. That disturbed me.
