    With the Yankees up 6-3 in the 9th inning, Alex Rodriguez hit a homerun off Troy Percival that bounced off the catwalk behind the foul pole. The 3rd base ump ruled that it was a homerun, but Rays catcher Dioner Navarro protested, as did Joe Maddon, so the umps went to check out the replay and upheld A-Rod's oh-so-important-and-meaningful-yet-again homerun. This goes down as the first use of replay in baseball. And now you know. History has been made.

Definitely. No way the refs were going to wipe away an important ARod homerun like that. Especially a 9th inning one!
