And why on earth wouldn't paps and drew make it... Drew is the hottest hitter in the league and paps is a sick closer.

The manager's are required to make their picks public so you'll know who they picked

yea, the article said the players voted in all 3 of those Red Sox players. They're telling me Francona didn't pick any Papelbon or Drew? Or Varitek? I call BS.

I agree, J.D. and Paps should be there because of their accomphlishments/ As for Tek he has struggled a bit and it is far fetched why he would make it over a Navarro.

drew and paps were going to get in anyways. the manager only picks at the end. And is usually hampered by the need to get every team represented.

i think its more of a slap to A.J. that the players wanted no part of him.
