    We're already missing a shortstop and a third baseman, Pierre is slated to to return as starting leftfielder, and the front office hasn't talked to the Padres about Peavy despite the Braves pulling out of the race. They might as well be like Dam and bwitty and not fill out a roster. They might win 40 games.
