Andruw Wants A Trade

Andruw Jones has told friends that he plans to approach the Dodgers and ask them to trade him. After hiding their excitement, the Dodgers will then have to find a suitor and determine how much of the $22.1 million they still owe him that they'll have to eat. Jones' first choice would likely be to return home to the Braves. But even at a cost of $2 million, the Braves likely aren't going to be willing to accommodate this homecoming. While hitting .158 with three homers and 14 RBIs in 75 games this past season, Jones said he was bothered by a sore knee. Members of the Braves organization said that he was bothered by the same knee discomfort during his days in Atlanta.

Is Andruw a moron?? What do you think the Ned Colletti and the Dodgers have been trying to do since June? No team on this planet will take Andruw for what he's worth even with the Dodgers eating a lot of that salary. Wait, Bowden might take a chance on him in Washington so I take that back. But that's the only person I can see taking on Andruw Jones. He's fat, lazy and can't even hit the baseball anymore. I just found it hilarious that Jones thought he had to ask for a trade. They're already on top of it Andruw.

I wish he'd wake the **** up and get back into the game. Gold glove streak ends, run at 500 homeruns ends.. and with that, Hall of Fame possibility.. gone like Johnny Damon's arm strength.

The only team in the world that would even think about it are the KC Royals for Jose Guillen if LA ate every bit of salary on both guys

Ehh, I think they might, you have no idea how badly they want guillen gone, granted idk what they want with Andruw Jones but they could just cut him.

Guillen was a huge clubhouse problem all of last year

Guillen was also the team leader in HRs and RBI. I think they can find a much, much, much better deal for Guillen.

I'm disappointed that AJ has not been able to produce. I was hoping he would shape up. I don't think any team would take a chance on him at this moment. He will need to start producing and showing he just went through a bad stretch.

Nevermind Juan Pierre's worthless baseball skills; if Jones had half of Pierre's not entirely worthless work ethic, he would literally working his fat ass off during the offseason. Instead, he doesn't even try to own up to the expectations of him, so naturally, he'll do what any pompous 'star' athlete under contract would do: ask for a trade, which Pierre has already done but he gets a break because for him even giving a full effort is futile to his value to the team.
