I'll say this about Chad Billingsley -

    I'm not convinced that he is an ace in the making. Bills is at best a #2 starter, more likely a career #3 on a good team. He doesn't have overwhelming stuff and his control is still a work in progress. Pitchers like Carl Pavano, Gil Meche, and Kip Wells were all supposed to be studs and they were anything but. I'm not sure that Bills was any better than those three when they were brought up to the big leagues.

Give Meche some credit. He has turned things around but I do think Billingsley will surpassed him.
 2008 Giants > Padres  Pathetic Stat of the Year- Matt Cain has a 3.74 career ERA, but has won just 30 of his 104 starts. |

Bills tonight: 2 1/3 innings, 5 runs (4 earned) including a 3-run jack given up to Mark Reynolds and an RBI single by the ****ing pitcher Doug Davis
Once again, nobody on our pitching staff has a sack and two balls to face up against the mighty Diamondbacks' offense. My bad. I forgot that Pavano helped his Marlins beat the Yankees in the 2003 World Series. He's awesome in that regard.
