PHOENIX -- Chad Billingsley's long-awaited first major league victory was a gem. The 21-year-old right-hander threw seven scoreless innings and the Los Angeles Dodgers snapped a five-game losing streak by beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 4-1 Tuesday night. "That was a big shot in the arm for him," Dodgers manager Grady Little said. "He's pitched a few good ballgames for us and come away with nothing to show for it, but he was outstanding out there tonight. You can't say enough about the way he pitched."

Game 3: Arizona won 8-0 on Miguel Batista's complete game shutout. Lowe was battered for 5 runs, two courtesy of a home run by Shawn Green.

On the bright side, this year the Dodgers won't have to pay Greenie $10 million to have him beat them.

Game 4: Arizona won 5-2. Like they had any chance against Webb, esp. with Hendrickson countering him. Dbacks took 3 of 4 from the Dodgers.

I'm not mocking you for rooting for two teams. My mock sig stems from the notion that Zonie transplants do not root for Phoenix teams, and I don't have a true Dback fan to gripe with. Your purple font fits the Dbacks, too.

I know bro....I'm just creating banter with you.....but......I don't root for AZ teams....ever......that would be rak777.......I hate the AZ teams......In fact I hate AZ, even though I currently live here.......yeah I know about the purple font......the purple font originated back when I used to post at the mlb.com forums and a bunch of us used to drink these purple thingy drinks that were served in some bar downtown......never did know what they were......but the purple remains.......and I still hate AZ and AZ teams......and the Dogs of course......nice sweep Pads.....really takes me back to the day that was (or wasn't as the case may be)........As a side note.....I always loved that realmofotalk skit on Mad TV, and the dumb ass white guy.....
