Are any of the 7 players currently playing elsewhere in the big leagues? Give us a hint.

According to the Angles' website, there were, Justin Baughman, Trent Durrington, Pat Kelly, Keith Johns, and Randy Velarde that were on the active roster sometime in either 1999 or 2000. I'm sure there were other guys that didn't see any time in the bigs that were brought in to compete for the job.
Of these guys, Durrington is the only one that was active in 2007. He is currently under a minor league contract with Cleveland.

One played for the Cardinals last year.

Also, Kevin Stocker is not one of them. Neither are the other two whom browntown named, and Randy Velarde's departure from the Angels was the reason the 2b spot was vacant.

I remember Scott Spiezio was on the team and played 2B a few times, but then again my memory could be going...

Scott Spiezio is the correct player to the hint.

And I didn't want to give this away because catman looked it up, but Pat Kelly is another.

That makes Justin Baughman, Benji Gil, Trent Durrington, Pat Kelly, and Scott Spiezio 5 of the 7.

You sure Keith Luulola and Keith Johnson weren't the other two? The website I'm searching says they were...

I'm aware that baseball-almanac.com lists Keith Luuloa and Keith Johnson as two of the Angels' infielders during the 2000 season. I'll give you Luuloa since I just discovered elsewhere that he was on the ST roster after all, while one of the two remaining names I had in mind wasn't listed for some reason.

But Keith Johnson wasn't invited to ST, so he is definitely not one of them.

1 more to go.
