Around this time last year, Roger Clemens needed a push. Maybe that's all he's waiting for this year. I was put on this earth to help people in their hour of need. You were put on earth to follow middle-age men around and ask things like: "Lefty had a dang good splitter tonight, didn't he, Jimy?" But go ahead. I can come up with a dozen reasons Clemens should return for a 23rd season. I can think of only two reasons he shouldn't: He believes his body has had enough, or he's simply tired of the grind. This isn't about Clemens having any unfinished business. This isn't about having anything left to prove. Because he has no unfinished business. Because he has nothing left to prove. Nor is this about money. He has gobs of it. This is about Clemens doing what he does better than almost anyone who ever lived. This is about doing what he loves.
