You have to be pleased with the way Pettitte pitched today against one of the best offenses in the game as Oswalt found out. Jason Lane was also 3-4.

Pettitte was fantastic and the more pleasing thing was that he can't wait to get out there again. He is having a lot of fun.

His line was 6.0 4 1 1 0 3 1 1.50

It looks like he is back.

Pettitte for the most part was hitting his spots.

The velocity wasn't there, it hung around 83-85 for most of the game, although he brought out some 88 MPHs against Pujols and Rolen

Over the few two innings, it was kinda like Pettitte was going in slow motion. It just seemed like it was a matter of time before they caught on to his stuff. Then, then just never did. Weird.

Yeah, it's from 2 years ago. I still love him.
