Rookie Scott hits for cycle, gets first ML HR

Luke Scott hit for the cycle against the Diamondbacks on Friday but the Astros still lost the game 8-7.
Not only did Scott hit for the cycle, but the homer was his first in the big leagues as well. Scott tripled and homered off starter Enrique Gonzalez, then doubled against reliever Brandon Medders. The left-handed outfielder then grounded out in the bottom of the ninth in a tie game, but singled in the 11th to keep the Astro's chances alive with the club down by a run. In total he drove in five while scoring once.
