Same here. Now that the record's been broken, there's not much left to see...Barry's still the one of the main reasons that the ballpark is filled every nite because he's a potential HOF (debatable, I know), but even still the only thing left for him to do is to set that number to be broken *by A-rod*.

Need I say more?

End of an era, Bonds will be missed, definetly will be missed. I hope he signs with a AL contender next year and gets a ring, I will be rooting for you Barry! SF will miss you! Thanks for the great memories! :(

Yeah, but only when he takes his kids to Disneyland. Bonds will not play for the Angels. Team chemistry is important to Mike Scioscia, and Scioscia isn't going to fight for Bonds to keep his recliner chair in the clubhouse. It'll be Mo Vaughn all over again.

Barry will be wearing pinstripes next season. I actually don't really want him but I wouldn't be suprised if the Yankees picked him up.

Personally, if Bonds went to a team like Boston or New Yosrk, I strongly feel that he would not be a distraction, because he would know that he would have a much higher chance of that World Series ring that he claims he wants so badly. I think it is just because he is closing in on 3,000 hits.

I can't believe that I actually said something positive about Bonds.

Nothing wrong with that, I respect you for that. I have never rooted for Bonds. Never cared for his personality, have always respected him as a player, because of his talent.

Yea he's 65 hits away from 3,000 and 4 rbis shy of 2,000.
