Rotoworld suggested last night that the A's may be intrested in Matt Kemp or Andy LaRoche in this deal, and the deal died because of the price.

It's obviously revisited now.

from the 2 articles I read the deal almost died because the A's want a major league ready SP, but the Dodgers don't have any. The A's supposedly didn't ask for anyone on their MLB roster currently...i.e. not Kemp.
