    According to ESPN:
At 38 years of age, Rod Beck died today. Causes of his death are unknown at this time. Foul play is NOT suspected right now. It may take a few days to determine cause of his death. Rest in peace Rod, my prayers and thoughts go out to his family. |

My heart goes out to the Beck family, as a Giants fan I watched Beck in his prime, this is just a tough loss, he was only 38 which sucks even more.

This is just awful to hear, far too young to die...RIP Rod.

Really sad to hear this because Beck was one of those guys who are just fun to watch. Loved watching this guy with the Giants. He was a good character and a good closer. Adios amigo.

wow can't believe I missed this, Beck was one of my favourites when I was young fan I loved his mustache, sad to hear
