I guess the feelings about Davey are pretty similar for both Reds and O's fans alike given him coming in and helping to turn around both teams in his tenure. Then chalk in his player ties with the O's and it makes even more so (the love for him.)

I think and so do most people in baseball think Mattingly is next in line if Torre goes. Those shoes are going to be impossible to fill and don't think Girardi wants it. Pineilla has been such a wreck in Chicago that new ownership might just buy out his contract or even the Chisox might have an opening.

I guess Davey Johnson could pan out with an Orioles team with nothing to lose except more games. All I can say is that Davey was the scapegoat for the $100 million payroll waste in Los Angeles, similar to Ray Miller in Baltimore when Angelos actually spent money on his Orioles.
