I didn't even know Erstad was a free agent.
The White Sox finally get him seven years after the Angels' upper management (the Disney people) shot down a pending trade that would have sent Erstad to Chicago in exchange for Jon Garland and Chris Singleton. Erstad went on to have a career year for the Angels. |
