The Marlins, who were playing crappy ball earlier in the season, have managed to make a late-season comeback and are now just 3 games behind the wild-card-leading reds. What do you guys think about their chances of making the playoffs? There's only a month left in the season, yet that's definitely enough time for anyone in contention to make a run for the title.

Your thoughts?

They've got a shot.

But Girardi for Mariners manager when he gets run off this winter!

Probably. I highly doubt that he's staying in Florida, especially with the team's soon-to-be move.

Don't know about this year, but I envy the Marlins' ability to sell (apparently) everything of value for specs and yet finish ahead of my Braves in the standings, which is what is likely to happen this season.

Guarantee they win it all in a few seasons. It happened after they dismantled the '97 championship team, and it'll happen again.
