You know, I remember that game and that one really pissed me off as well. Didn't the Royal sweep us or take 2 of 3 or something?

He fell in love with LaTroy Hawkins who I didn't think could get an out at the beginning of the year. He stayed with Fuentes who was injured through a 1-9 road stand where Fuentes blew 4 saves in a row. But on the otherhand, he has changed his ways a bit FOR NOW.

What ever happened to Finley after we designated him to the Springs? Did someone else sign him or did he retire?
Yeah, Fuentes was painful over that stretch (and that was right after teh Yankees sweep, right?)
Since I work nights I don't get to watch as many games as I would've liked, but thems the breaks. LOL.

Yeah, gotta leave Hawpe in there.

I do however appreciate a manager taking chances especially when the team is hot (pulling Morales for Smith who can't get out). This series I'm afraid we may see Hurdle hurt the team with his managerial shortfalls. I hope I'm wrong. I do like him as a person, but that has no bearing on my opinion of him as a manager.

He's got the midas touch right now, and we'll have to see if it continues. All I know is these guys seem to have bought into what he is selling, and so will I.
