Burger King Found A New Home

White Sox signed LHP Ray King to a minor league contract and assigned him to Triple-A Charlotte. King elected to become a free agent by refusing his assignment to Triple-A when the Nationals tried to demote him last month, but likely would have had better odds of getting back to the majors in Washington.

King can help this White Sox team try and stay in the race getting lefties out like Morneau, Hafner and Gordon who are all in the division. Good low risk, low everything move.

If Ray King was signed to get Hafner, Morneau, and Gordon out, the White Sox are saying something about their bullpen. King has had some good years in the bigs, but his stuff is not what it once was, as has been said.
