The Twins asked for Jon Lester's medical records and are interested in a couple of other prospects, along with Coco Crisp, who could be dealt or kept, depending on what they can get for him. It looks like a deal will be done sooner rather than later.

People are saying the Santana deal is dead... I wouldn't say "dead". More in hibernation. And as much as I'd love to have Johan on the Sox rotation, I'm also fine with what the club has right now. I hate whenever the Sox deal way young kids.

I'd cry with joy if we get Santana.. but it'll be hard because Twins will ask for too much like they did with the Yankees. And once we get Johan there's no guarantee that Johan will stay either. I'd love to do the deal that didn't include buchh and ells. What was the problem between Twins and Sox that stopped the trade talk?
