There are some intriguing names on the lists. I don't see someone who will crack the 25-man roster, but several good signings IMO.

Kevin Cash - Not a big name, and he hits about as well as Willie Harris or myself, but he catches extremely well (good defense), and if Belli keeps doing horrendous hitting-wise, Cash might get a chance to catch Wake

Runelvys Hernandez - Probably the best of a thin bunch. Runelvys has shown varying levels of success in short time periods, and with the injuries the Sox usually get, I'd be shocked if he's not up by June for us, if he's still with the team. I don't expect much more than a solid innings eater, but in this market...why not?

Alex Ochoa - Returning from a tour in Japan, looks like a pretty nice reserve OF if he can play mediocre defense and make contact.

Those are the three most intriguing names listed. A couple of RP options for mid-season are there too.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

I bet that Hernandez and Ochoa will at least make the 40-man roster. I bet they bounce up and down throughout the season from the big leagues and AAA.
