    Orioles designated RHP Steve Reed for assignment.
We liked the signing, but with a 6.61 ERA in 32 2/3 IP, Reed was quite the disappointment for the Orioles. Expect him to head back to the NL and help some club's pen the rest of the way. Dare it say it...Braves?  -General George S. Patton, Jr., US Army |

Hopefully Jason Grimsley can step in after his injury and return to form. Reed scared the hell out of me every time he came in. If he doesn't get ahead in counts, he's toast!

Heh, I thought it was Kline by the topic title.
Some signings work, some don't, Orioles will have to pray it works with the next guy.  Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor. |
