I was reading over stats versus the opposing team, and it made me ponder this question: If teams don't play often, do you put stock in how players perform against those opposing teams?

Also with FA, teams are not always the same... so performance by team, in any year but the current, means diddly squat... batter .vs pitcher performance INDIVIDUALLY can lead you to some conclusions and probability, but I do not buy into this ".vs team" historical crapola
As for ballpark... I think familiarity gains advantage... and a left field porch 30 feet shorter than average (for example) could make a difference to righty batters... but I do not put a huge amount into 'this park is great for this player'... I fully believe some parks have their advantages and disadvantages, but not that they are very partisan to particular players... moreso to TYPES of players
