Fri, 9 Nov 2007 00:08:19 -0800 The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Orioles SP Adam Loewen (elbow), who missed the last five months of the 2007 season with a stress fracture in his left elbow that required surgery, has been cleared to start throwing. |

This is good news for the Orioles. Adam Loewen could be just the starter they need to get them back to .500. They need more than just him to become a contending team, but he could help.
