What do you mean thank god? Considering 1) the current pitching staff of this team, and 2) the not-terrible-actually-kind-of-good pitching of steve trachsel, this stinks. that's a bummer for the team. they need him

Steve Trachsel is mediocre at this point. But you're right, it couldn't hurt them

Good point. I mean, if the team is willing to admit that they are not going to win this year, and commit to building a young good team, then Trachsel isn't the answer. But I will say that you could do a lot worse than Trachsel.

yes but if some of these guys aren't ready yet, you need a vet to take their slot in the rotation and give the young guys some more time in the minors. that's what livan hernandez is doing for the twins. he's just eating innings for them.

This is true. But...HEY! Kyle, you're supposed to be watching your movie. But seriously, I think they should give the young kids a shot and if they're not ready, they can put them back in to the minors for a while and use Trachsel.
