(56-63) vs. (61-58)

8/17 Game 1: Garrett Olson (1-1, 4.60 ERA) vs. A.J. Burnett (6-6, 4.09 ERA)

8/18 Game 2: Steve Trachsel (5-7, 4.85 ERA) vs. Jesse Litsch (4-5, 3.54 ERA)

8/19 Game 3: Jeremy Guthrie (7-4, 3.50 ERA) vs. Roy Halladay (14-5, 3.99 ERA)

Good series against the Yanks. Can the O's keep it going?

This is kind of a tough one to predict. I would say Burnett in game 1, but Trachsel and Litsch have both been pitching well as of late, and Guthrie and Halladay are both having good season but Halladay is a former Cy Young winner. Just by looking at the matchups I would say the Orioles biggest advantage is their momentum from the Yanks series.

Yeah, I'm not as confident about this one as the Yanks series. We've "owned" the Yanks about as well as you can own them (4 straight series wins), but when it comes to playing average teams, well, we're just average. Plus Bedard isn't throwing this series and Trax is.
