I know Trembley has said that Tejada will now play DH every Sunday game from this point forward. He feels giving Tejada a partial break from SS, but still allowing him to take at bats and keep his continued steak of consecutive games will result in improved play by Tejada. I have not yet heard of Tejada objecting to the call. I feel like Trembley would really like to give him a game or two for a break, but that call, due to his streak, would be clearly out of the question.

I have read a few rumors on Texas news sites that the Texans may be interested in a strait up Cabrera for Teixiera trade. I wouldn't mind giving up Cabrera for Teixiera especially if the O's would be willing to go after a free agent starting pitcher in the offseason. These are only rumors and since the Rangers have multiple needs I think some $$$ or a few young players may be added, but I wouldn't mind that either. As long as Markakis is still an Oriole.
