Disagree with the Furcal statement. Nomar is #1
.I am still a little worried about Smoltz. I don't know if he can handle a full year of starting after closing for a while. I am picking the Braves to win the East though. You almost have to until they lose it for once. I aim to try

Kolb sucks; blown saves will suck the life out of a team REAL QUICK; just ask A's fans about last year (28 blown saves- if we had half of those we would have won 105 games). Why would anybody want a closer that doesn't get many strikeouts? Anytime the ball gets put in play there's a chance for a hit, error etc. Not good.

Jorge Sosa is nasty. Reitsma is pretty decent. We got absolutely zero bats. I hope they develop Sosa to be the closer of the future. His stuff is filthy. |
